The 2016 conference will take place at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya from February 17th-19th. The resort is split into two sections (listed below) and the SSIA has established special rates per night at each (see below).

The Hard Rock is about an hour from the airport (Cancun) so the SSIA is providing some shuttle options from the Cancun Airport to the Hotel for our attendees. Please sign up for one of these options if you prefer to take advantage of this option. If not you will be responsible for your own transportation to and from the airport.

1. How can I change my reservation arrival or departure date?

Our web based reservations system will provide you with a confirmation code via email that can be used to make changes to your reservation.  With this confirmation code, you can use the link given by the organizer to change your reservation.

 

2. How can I make a reservation for our group's pre & post nights?

You can make the reservation via the reservation link issued by the organizer.  If there are any issues, please contact Antonio Vazquez via email at avazquez@hrhaic.com or via telephone Monday-Friday from 9am-6pm Central Standard Time by dialing 800-539-3313, after the prompt enter the four digit hotel extension (6571) and Antonio’s four digit extension (1201) quickly and consecutively.

 

3. How many days will I have to wait for my reimbursement if I cancel my reservation?

15-21 days.  The hotel will apply the refund in less than 5 days, however due to international banking transaction procedures, your credit will be reflected on your statement in approximately 15-21 days. A refund will be issued in the same payment method used.

 

4. My business partner and I wish to pay for our reservation with different credit cards.

Our web based reservations system will only accept one credit card for payment per reservation.  If your partner wishes to pay for his portion of the room with his own credit card, the new card can be given to the front desk at check-in.

 

5.  My business partner and I are sharing a room but coming at different times.  How do I indicate this while making the reservation via the link?

6. I can't find the type of room I want for my reservation.

Only rooms located in the Heaven Section (adults only) with two beds have been reserved for your group.  Any requests for a room in the Hacienda Section (family friendly) or a different room type will be granted at the group rate of $398 Single or $450 double based on inventory being available. 7. How many reservations can I make with one credit card?

Please do not attempt to make more than 1 reservation per each unique credit card number.  You may be able to make up to 4 reservations within a day and up to 6 within a month with the same credit card, however credit card fraud precaution mechanisms by your bank may block multiple reservations.

 

8. What do I do if the Link shows no availability when I try to make a reservation?

9. How many days before my arrival do I have to cancel my reservation without penalty?

Cancellations must be received 8 days prior to arrival or entire stay will be charged.

 

10.  The reservation link is not calculating the room rate when I add my children?

Currently the reservation link does not support/calculate the price for children.  Please make the reservation for you and  your partner only and you will be charged at check in for your children.  Please keep in mind that the current room block is in Heaven (adults only) section.  If you  are planning to bring any children with you, please contact Antonio Vasquez to check availability in the Hacienda (family friendly) section.

 

11.  I am coming in two days before my spouse.  How do I indicate that while making the reservation via the link?

Please make your reservation for yourself only.  When you check in at the hotel you can let the front desk know your spouse will be joining you at a later date at which time payment for your partner or spouse and will be made and the reservation will be adjusted.
