The 2011 Sport & Social Industry Conference
Date: Friday & Saturday, February 26th & 27th, 2011
Location: Catamaran Resort, San Diego
The SSIA recently held a conference call to discuss the successes and progress of the SSIA since the conference as well as open up discussion regarding next steps. The group decided that a working group should be established and that "working group" will be in charge of putting together a plan to move the SSIA forward. This group will also assign responsibilities and execute the plan they put together. The first annual Sport and Social Industry Trade Conference took place on February 26th and 27th of 2011 in San Diego, CA! This event allowed leaders from sport and social businesses throughout the country to get together and discuss various topics including technology, sponsorship, innovation and best practices. Over 40 representaives from 27 businesses nationwide attended the event and the SSIA will be moving forward with many of the initiatives discussed.
