SPSC was created in 2001 and is Detroit's largest organizer of co-ed recreational sport leagues and social events. It has approximately 2500 people that play on a weekly basis. It offers 8 sports, 4 seasons a year, Saturday – Thursday. It is also involved with several charity organizations throughout the year, including Operation Kid Equip, Camp Casey, Susan G Komen Race for the Cure, Children’s Center, Cultural Alliance and Cornerstone Schools.
