The SSIA Executive Committee (or Board) serves to represent the membership and drive the direction of the overall industry. Members are selected/elected each year after the Annual Conference.
The Events Committee works closely with SSIA staff to oversee, coordinate and increase all efforts being conducted by and for the SSIA in regards to events, tournaments, social functions and the annual conference. Meetings are every other Wednesday (every Wed in Jan and Feb). Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to be included.
The Sponsorship Committee oversees, coordinates and increases all efforts being conducted by and for the SSIA in its revenue generating endeavors such as advertising and sponsorship. This committee also develops educational content to share with members regarding sponsorship trends within the industry. Meetings are every 3rd Thursday of the month, please reach out to email@example.com to be included.
The Marketing Committee is responsible for the SSIA’s communication to ensure the quality, integrity, credibility and reach of the SSIA brand. They oversee the SSIA and SSN websites and social media pages, and help educate members on marketing trends.
The DEI Committee elevates and facilitates ongoing and continuing efforts to build a culture and environment of mutual respect. DEI aims to set best practices, policies, shared resources, and a safe space to check blind spots as it relates to creating inclusive, equitable, and diverse messaging and activities for the Social Sports industry members and participants.
