Louis Hodgetts | Owner | Game On VT

Years in the Industry: 17

Current EC Position: Secretary/Partnership Subcommittee Chair

Why am I re-running for the EC? As an owner of a smaller club, I’m passionate about ensuring that Tier 1 members have a strong voice within the SSIA. Our perspectives, challenges, and opportunities are an important part of the broader network, and I want to continue advocating for resources and initiatives that support clubs at every stage of growth.

In my role as Secretary, I will continue working to refine and apply our association bylaws, helping ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment as the SSIA continues to evolve.

As Partnership Committee Chair, I plan to build on the momentum we’ve started by developing new partnership opportunities that deliver real value to members — whether through cost savings, operational support, or access to trusted vendors.

More broadly, I’m committed to supporting the SSIA as it grows by helping create more opportunities for connection, knowledge sharing, and collaboration across our network. The strength of this organization is in its members, and I want to help continue building an environment where we can all learn from each other and succeed together.

Dan Lefebvre | President/CSO | TRI SPORTS

Years in the Industry: 25

Current EC Position: Events Subcommittee Co-Chair

Any new initiatives you would like to start?: I'm hoping to drum up enough interest to launch regional conferences, regional tournaments, and trips.

Why am I re-running for the EC? I'm super-pleased with my first term on the EC and I'd like the opportunity to continue moving the Events Subcommittee forward with New & Exciting SSIA Challenge Games and, hopefully, regional tournaments and SSIA Trips. I'm always open to suggestions; so please let me know your idea for an awesome SSIA event and I'll see if we can bring it to fruition.

Marc Tucci | CEO | Austin Sports and Social Club

Years in the Industry: 21

Current EC Position: Member Relations Chair

Why am I re-running for the EC? It has been a great experience to serve on the board the past handful of years, and look forward to the opportunity to continue to do so. As the current Member Relations chair, settling conflicts among members has been the focal point. I would like this to evolve to getting more employees of each organization involved in the SSIA, and giving them an easier way to connect with similar people in other organizations. As the founders and senior team leaders step back from many daily operations, we need to make it easy for the next generation of leaders to create the same bonds with other clubs that have benefit many of us over the years.

Is there a person or two in your company that has no involvement in the SSIA?  People you might not want to invest in going to conference, knowing it may be a hard for them to make meaningful connections, or not an investment you're ready to make?  I would like to help create a path for them to get involved, perhaps a regular/monthly video call with others who hold similar positions at other SSIA organizations, on topics they recommend as their pain points.

Chris Corbin | Owner | Hive Athletic

Years in the Industry: 15

Area of Interest: Officer (Pres, VP, Teas, Sec), Events Subcommittee, Member Relations, Knowledge Share Subcommittee

Any new initiatives you would like to start? One initiative I’d love to champion is professional development. One of the biggest opportunities within our industry is helping employees grow not just within social sports, but as stronger professionals overall. How can we better support our teams in becoming more efficient, confident, and valuable while they are working with us? I’d like to help create opportunities to share practical skills that benefit both the individual and the company at the same time, including:

  • Excel tips and tricks
  • Calendar and time management systems
  • Basic financial literacy
  • Email organization and inbox management
  • Negotiation techniques
  • Public speaking and presentation skills

These are the types of skills that improve day to day performance, build confidence, and create stronger leaders across every level of an organization. Investing in people this way helps retention, improves operations, and gives employees tools they will carry with them for the rest of their careers. I believe the SSIA can play a major role in helping members not only grow their businesses, but also grow their people.

Why am I running for the EC? I’m running because both I and Hive Athletic have benefited tremendously from being part of the Social Sports Industry Association, and now I want the opportunity to give back and pay it forward.

With over 20 years in the industry, I understand the challenges and opportunities at every stage of growth. I know what it’s like to work for a small Tier 1 startup that is bootstrapping, building from the ground up, and fighting for every win. I also understand the demands of a large Tier 3 organization focused on scaling, systems, leadership development, and long-term sustainability.

That perspective allows me to bring both empathy and practical solutions to the table. I want to help create more opportunities for operators across the industry, strengthen the sense of community within SSIA, and ensure members at every level feel supported, connected, and equipped to grow.

Tyler McKee | Head of Growth | FXA Sports

Years in the Industry: 10

Area of Interest: Knowledge Share Subcommittee

Any new initiatives you would like to start? Advocacy Committee

Why am I running for the EC? I’m running for the Executive Committee because I’m excited about the continued growth of SSIA and the opportunity to further strengthen the value we provide to our members and the industry as a whole.

As our industry evolves, many operators (especially Tier 1 and Tier 2 organizations) are navigating challenges around sustainability, staffing, and growth. I believe SSIA is uniquely positioned to support its members by developing more tools, resources, and shared standards that help operators succeed at every level.

As a member of the Executive Committee, I would focus on three key areas:

  1. Practical Tools & Resources: Supporting the development of actionable playbooks, benchmarks, and operational frameworks that help operators improve performance and sustainability.
  2. Workforce Development: Advancing training and certification pathways for referees, league operators, and staff to help build a more professionalized and reliable workforce.
  3. Industry Advocacy & Positioning: Strengthening how we engage with local governments and communities to position adult sports organizations as valuable, credible partners.

I’m excited about the opportunity to contribute, collaborate with fellow members, and help SSIA continue to grow as a resource and leader for the adult recreational sports industry.
