Lindsey Enright / Beehive Sport & Social Club Lindsey was instrumental in organizing an Adult Field Day in Salt Lake City that was covered by the Wall Street Journal and the Drew Barrymore Show. More than 400 people attended. The police were called by someone at the park who was offended by our use of blow up dolls in the water balloon launch event. However, upon review the dolls were not anatomically correct (no nipples or vaginas) so there was no infraction for public indecency. We did however put a PBR shirt on the dolls to appease the offender bystander.
#LOVBxBCVB Pro Academy Volleyball Clinic in July. We partnered with League One Volleyball (LOVB) and NYU athletics to host a night of games, drills and meet & greets with Olympic athletes Jordan Larson, Haleigh Washington, and Justine Wong-Orantes. 160 players packed the NYU courts for a once-in-a-lifetime chance to learn and play with real LOVB pro volleyball players, and grow the sport of volleyball in NYC.
We have kickoff events before each season for players to come out and socialize prior to games. We raffle prizes off then have one big prize at the end!

Let the Girls Play Weekend.
In the course of one weekend, we ran three women-only tournaments in Kickball, Volleyball and Dodgeball. These events allowed women to take on roles usually not available to them such as hitting in volleyball, playing third base in kickball and being corner throwers in dodgeball. All players entered as individuals, allowing team to be made fairly and the competition to be even.
In total, 90 women participated in a 'Let the Girls Play' tournament. The impact went beyond the games themselves as the weekend created a space where women could lead, take risks, and redefine how they see themselves as athletes.

The Graveyard 5K is our signature Halloween-themed run and community celebration that drew our highest attendance ever — hundreds of runners, walkers, and families converged at historic Elmwood Cemetery for a uniquely spirited 5K, 1-mile fun run, live DJ, costume contest, and post-race festivities that turned fitness into an unforgettable local tradition.
Club Sport ran its first "GLOW GIANT PONG" event in 2025 and it was a huge hit. With the inaugural event selling out and played under black lights on the sand, players came dressed in neon or body paint to compete. The cans were rimmed with glow in the dark paint and special glow balls were used. This double elimination tournament was more party than serious competition and fun was had by all that played!
The Ottawa Sport & Social Club (OSSC) exemplifies what this award celebrates by delivering high-impact, one-off events that go far beyond traditional league play. A standout example is OSSC’s collaboration with Deloitte Canada for their annual Family Fun Day, hosted at a professional baseball stadium in Ottawa.
What was the Deloitte Family Fun Day?
Deloitte , the world’s largest professional services network, welcomed employees of their Ottawa office—along with their families—for a full day of entertainment including bouncy castles, music, magic shows, a beer garden, and extensive food offerings. OSSC took a major component off Deloitte’s plate by designing, planning, and executing all sport programming for the event. This included fully facilitated grass volleyball, soccer, ultimate frisbee, and kickball activities that were inclusive, energetic, and family-friendly.
Results & Impact
The event successfully engaged not only Deloitte employees, but also their children and extended families, creating a true community experience through sport. It showcased OSSC’s ability to adapt its programming beyond leagues, scale operations to a large corporate setting, and deliver a seamless participant experience.
The event was led by OSSC’s local manager, Lucas Arsenault-Ball, who coordinated all logistics including sport layout, field signage, waivers and check in table, participant flow, and on-site field coordinators. His leadership ensured the event ran smoothly from start to finish and reflected OSSC’s professionalism and creativity.
Why this was important to OSSC
This collaboration strengthened OSSC’s relationship with a major national client, delivered meaningful value to them, and demonstrated how thoughtfully executed one-day events can leave a lasting impression. It is a clear example of OSSC pushing boundaries with fresh ideas and exceptional execution—making it a strong contender for Best Event in 2025.
